The chief of the Tanzanian police force posts employment openings for young people with fourth form, sixth form, diploma, and certificate schooling.

In a report published on May 9, 2024, the Police Headquarters in Dodoma stated that 74 of the posts are held by individuals with a degree, 66 by those with a diploma, and 66 by those with a certificate level (associate degree). Time to apply for these jobs has been extended for five days (5 days) from 16, May due to the internet problem occured in Tanzania and other countries. If the internet problem will still exist, the government will find another alternative. Requirements Anyone has right to apply for these jobs if has the following requirements;

• Must be a naturalized citizen of Tanzania.
• Must have completed their fourth or sixth form education between 2018 and 2023.
• Candidates with diploma, fourth form, and sixth form qualifications must be between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five.
• Candidates for the fourth form must have earned Division I through IV grades. Division IV students ought to have received between 26 and 28 points.
• Applicants for the sixth form must have received grades in Division I through III.
• Bachelor’s and associate’s degree holders are required to be between the ages of 18 and 30.
• Males must be at least 5 feet 8 inches tall, while girls must be at least 5 feet 4 inches tall.
• Must be in possession of an identity card or number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA).
• Needs to be fluent in both Swahili and English.
• Need to be in good bodily and mental health, as confirmed by a government physician. k) Need to be childless and single.
• Must not have used drugs in the past.
• Must be prepared to participate in initial police training.
• Must not have worked for any government agency in the past or present.
• It is necessary to be open to serving as a police officer wherever in Tanzania.
• Should you be asked to an interview, you must be ready to pay for all expenses related to the hiring process.
• Cannot have any tattoos on their body.
• Must be free of criminal history.
• Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (level 8 NTA), an associate’s degree (level 6 NTA), or a certificate (level 5 NVA) must have completed the required courses as listed in this announcement

The deadline for submitting job applications is 21st May, 2024 (earlier was 16th May,2024);

Each application must be in hand-writing , including contact information, and sent to the Chief of the Tanzania Police Force at P.O. Box 961 in Dodoma.
